As a company we do not only believe in
empirical growth but social growth and
development as well. In fact our Core
Purpose – Creating Happy & Healthy
Communities across the world by delivering
beyond the customer’s expectation drives us
in all our endeavours. As realtors our
foremost responsibility is to take care of
environment locally. Thus, the company has
always prophesized sustainable designs. Each
of our projects is carefully designed
keeping the idea of water and electricity
conservation in mind. We make it a point to
build structures that are eco-friendly.
As a conscientious decision, we have taken
up 2 initiatives -
Komal Ankur
In its constant endeavour to give back to
the society, CHD Developers Ltd. recently
launched a social sensitization campaign
“Komal Ankur”. It aims to spread awareness
about two of the most alarming issues ailing
the society today – environment conservation
and the protection of the girl child. The
project connects the issues of environment
and girl child collectively to motherhood,
and focuses on social sensitization towards
the issues. The campaign started from CHD’s
own township CHD City in Karnal and over
10,000 saplings were planted under in this
initiative.
Around the world millions of girls continue
to remain marginalized. The saplings planted
would be nurtured and linked to the growth
and maturing of the girl child. This
activity is to signify the efforts for
supporting the cause for upliftment of the
girl child and free her from the social
stigmas of violence, illiteracy, and modern
slavery.
A Crèche for the underprivileged
Moved by the plight of labourer’s children
at one of the construction sites of a
residential project by CHD Developers Ltd.,
the company initiated and conceptualized the
setting up of a special Crèche to provide
basic amenities for these children. The
crèche was started in June 2011 with an aim
to provide a shelter for the children who
used to loiter around in the construction
site earlier. The crèche provides shelter to
around 22 children and this number is
expected to grow.
The crèche not just provides a safe haven to
these children; it also offers them basic
amenities. Indoor toys and games which was a
far fetched reality for these children have
been provided to them. The swings outside
the crèche can be seen with smiling faces
playing blissfully.
Taking this commendable step to another
level, the company plans to set up more such
crèches at the construction sites of all its
projects which is bound to spread more
smiles and bring a ray of hope in the lives
of many other such children.
